Hi! One of my chickens twice laid eggs (2 at a time) with no shell to speak of... I've noticed she'll feed a lot more off grass than her sisters when I let them loose in my backyard. There are no nefarious plants around, so that's not the issue. I'm just wondering if she's been eating too much grass, not enough feed, although there's plenty in her reach.

Hi Julie, if she's new to laying it can take a while to get the laying mechanism working properly. As others have mentioned, some oyster shell can help a lot with shells.
