hi new here,,getting 26 chickens in feb-or-mar.

Hello,i just wanted to say hi,will be getting our first full flock in feb,or mar,depending on the coldness of this winter,,wish i could get them now,lol,my kids are just as ready as me,lol,we have chosen black Australorps,may be a few buff Orpingtons,,first time dealing with theses breeds,,,but sure we will have a fun time!!!now i am about to build the brooders for the new chicks,,love all your ideas,,and the one's you all made!!well til next time PEACE OUT,GOD BLESS US ALL

BAs and BOs are great choices! BAs will lay in the heat and the BOs will lay in the winter without light.
