Hi backyard chicken raisers! I started raising chickens and 1 goose this year. I‘m completely new to it; often found helpful tips and experiences on this site. So seems like a good idea to join! I love my 6 Black Laced Golden Wyandottes, 4 Light Brahmas and White Chinese Goose; they are now 9 weeks old, the goose is 8 weeks and they’re all free ranging in our yard. We also have 2 cats.

We are looking forward to the eggs, but I have found the whole experience so far very interesting and exciting. They are just so lovable, funny and smart! I love watching their behavior.
