(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We first got chickens about three years ago. We have two hens left from the original group: Dot and Rebecca.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? The two senior ladies and nine 10-week old babies who aren't quite ready to join the old ladies yet.
(3) What breeds do you have? Speckled Sussex's, Buff Orpington's, Blue Sapphires, a Barred Rock, and a young rooster of white leghorn variety.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The eggs and the companionship.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Horseback riding, camping and gardening
