Have you ever shut them in their coop for a few days so the are forced to lay in their coop. I also have golf balls in my nest boxes. I had some that didn't want to lay in the nest boxes or their coop. I built a community nest box out of some scrap wood and took the other out. Since I put the community nest box in the birds are now laying in it. Good luck and have fun...
