I agree with @N F C to get at least 3 in case you lose one, the other won't be left all alone.
Also make sure that you build a coop that offers 4 sq ft of floor space per bird, about 12" of roost space per bird, 1 nest box per 4-5 birds and shoot for 1 sq ft of year round ventilation per bird and lots of natural light in the coop using top hinged, 1/2" hardware cloth backed windows. To predator proof the coop make sure there are no openings larger than 1/2" when they are lock in. That is why you need to back up you windows and ventilation with 1/2" hardware cloth.
The run should offer 15 sq ft of space per bird with a good substrate for them to scratch around in that will also compost the poop load (I like wood chips) and have perches and things to hide behind and jump up on in the run.
