I am actually a dog owner, and currently own a Bulldog. But I am also
looking to have chickens. But let me know if the chickens and Bulldog
can adjust in a same backyard? What do you think?

It's entirely dependent on the dog. Some will take on a protective roll over the chickens while others will see them as either toys or food. Close supervision and sometimes a barrier such as hardware cloth are often required until you get a solid sense of where the dog is.
