Hi everybody my name is Kathy Miller I live in Kemah TX (actually a couple of miles outside) I would very much like to get started raising chickens to be laying hens. I am a NEWBIE to all this and as of right now will be starting from the bottom up and will need lots of info and help doing this but I think i can do this. I do not work and am 55yrs old my birthday is in Aug. I am married to my husband mike for 32 yrs. And have 2 grown children (daughter 26 and son 23 ) and we havew one pet in the Household a 9 month old Boxer named Mustang Sally. We have a little over an 1 1/2 of land so I will need to know how much room i need to set this up. Well that is all I think of right now. Any help would be appreciated TY Kathy Miller

Nothing like farm fresh eggs.. Our favorite thing is sharing our beautiful eggs with others.. We
LOVE to see their face light up when they see all the different colored eggs.. We have blue, green cream, tan, pinkish tan, redish tan with speckles and camouflage colored eggs..
Keep us posted on what breeds you get.. Look under the "where am I, where are you" under social for some more local wonderful chicken folk.. :frow
