Welcome to the roost. We have found no rhyme or reason for when cockerels or roosters crow. Ours do at anytime of the day. Whenever they get the urge they crow. We had a batam Cochin we named Barney who crowed all day long. His crow was very off key thus his name Barney (Fife) for those who know that TV character. We sleep with fans so never hear any morning wake up calls. That is what Alexa’s for.
