Hi new to this,

Is this your only duck?  I remember hearing "nothing is sadder than a single duck", I had one that was a rescue- now I have 7.  If you have more than one, they will be each others companions- inseparable.

They are messy, so be prepared to change water and bedding very frequently- and they grow at a very fast rate.  Already start thinking about where they will be outside.  Ducks have down, which lets them go outside earlier than you'd expect.

Let us know what your questions are!  I love my ducks- the eggs, their hilarious bantering- all of it.

I don't have ducks, but what I have read is that you should never have just one duck. Even one other duck would be enough. Also look up everything that you can as soon as you can. Sorry if I sound like I am demanding you around but I just want to help out. Hope to see more of you in the near future.

Will he be ok ton? I want him to be warm and safe. And both of us rested so is he going to freak out all night?

So spoiled. But he cnt sleep with me can he? New to this and he just curls up under my neck and seriously rubs his pitiful little face on my neck.

From the park? Hmm... Do you know what kind of duckling it is? Or can you post a picture. I'm just trying to see if its a domesticated breed.

He seems domesticated to me. I'm so tired but I dnt want him to freak out all night bc when I put him down he pecks at the sides of the tub will he hurt his beak?
