Thanks Walking Wolf... I think we will do that, get both adults and some chicks. I'm planning to make my coop with an attached pen that can be divided to let the grass grow etc. That should be good to keep them seperated for a bit at least until the chicks are big enough the adults won't hurt them.

Now to get the DH building the coop! lol
