I am Shelli (wife to Chris) Mom to Syd (8) and Emma (3) we live in southern VA in a valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains! We are smack dab in the middle of the city(we have nearly an acre though) but we can up to 10 poultry so we have chosen Chickens. We started with 3 Buff Orpingtons, a Silver Spangle Hamburg (pullets) and just yesterday we went to my Uncles where he gave the girls 4 chickens (2 white Silkies and 2 (I think they are black tailed Japanese Bantams(hens)) the BTJP are picking on the Silkies so I might send the Silkies back to him and purchase some Sebrights out of the local classifieds!
We also have a Boxer, a Pug and a Chihuahua. 3 Birds (cockatiel, conure and a Alexandrine Parrot) a cat, a fish tank and a frog lol
