I am new to the forum , came on a while ago then went again. I will soon be getting chickens!! I was just wondering if any of you live in the uk ?

This forum is so useful , I love looking at all the pictures of your chickens!
 
Hi Georgie, yes I'm from the UK. Welcome back and this is a great website, i would be lost with out it! you can do a search for members in your county. On the main forum page look at the 1st blue line from the top, go 2 in to 'user list' and from there you can search. I'm in Hampshire. Enjoy!

such a small world!! do you know what breads you want and where to get them? do you have a coop? I built ours from recycled wood! took months to gather all the materials, but the hens are happy!
 
We have the coop, My dad is still finishing the run , i posted pictures in a thread in the constructing forum . We are getting sussex hens from a lady who lives in our area.

I would quite like a speckeldy and a blue or rhode rock
 
great looking coop! do you have bark on the floor? I thought about bark but used gravel so I could hose it down weekly, it was a good price and worked out cheaper. I'm sure when you get hens, they will be really happy and lay lots of eggs!
