It's a bummer when your favourite dies. I've been there along with a bunch of us. You can get another bird, and you'll love it to bits, but you never forget your fave.
When my Slifer died, I bought a stepping stone kit to make up. It will have the day that she came here and the day that she died. And a little something about her, like "A more cantakerous bag of feathers has never lived or been loved."
She liked noone and tolerated me...
