I'm new to both the website and chickens in general. I must confess, I lurked the site for awhile, trying to get a little knowledge before I brought home "the girls". I'm starting out with 6, just so I don't get overwhelmed. I have 2 Ameicuanas, 2 buff orpingtons and 2 Dominiques ( or as they as caled here, Domineker). The Americuanas are a week older that the others at 3 weeks. Going well so far.
They are very pretty birds.
