I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately it seems like all states and towns etc. have the same kind of negligent pet owners. They just turn them loose and couldn't care less what their pets get into. Please check out the coops and predators sections for ideas on keeping the varmints out and your flock, safely in.

Hi. Thanks for your condolences. I have been around the coop section and have learned a lot of ways to better secure MY responsibilities. In other words protect and defend my defenseless!
I hope no one suffers this type of loss. I'll build a better planned coop going forward and will not have another bird injured because I haven't prepared a PLAN.
