Hi folks!

My name is Angela, and I'm a new chicky mom. I have one little girl who is five years old, and is my absolute delight. We decided to raise chickens as a part of homeschooling and occupational therapy (my little girl has Asperger's and I've found that she connects extremely well to animals). Currently we have three little chicks (mixed EE's) who are two hens and a roo. Hopefully soon, we'll be getting two Polish! I'm learning so much from this forum and all of the friendly people. What a great community! Thanks so much already for the advice I've received. I'm so looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hello Angela and welcome from OHIO!

I think you and your daughter will really enjoy your little flock. My granddaughter just loves the chickens and she's only one year old.....I'm sure she'll be walking to the hen house with me when she's bigger to collect eggs.

I'm not totally sure what Asperger's is, but your daughter looks cute as a button and I hope she's doing well!
