Don’t forget that if you add chickens they will need to be quarantined from your existing chickens for at least a month. So you would need the equivalent of your existing coop and run for them. You might want to wait until next Spring and raise. Babies to join your flock.

It’s really appreciated. We will stick to our 3 girlies and give them all that little extra loving!
We are hoping to move house in the next couple of years anyways where we want to build a big coop that will give us the ability to shut off sections for cases of quarantine / new introductions so we will wait for then.

Hi Emily, sorry for the loss of Bella. I think what you've mentioned in your 2nd post is a good way to go...stick with the 3 and when you do move, build a bigger coop.
