My name is Kim and last summer I was givin 4 americana chicks. They are now 8- 10 months old and I didn't get eggs for 3 days. Yesterday I got 2 eggs, today 1 so far. I opened an egg today to eat and it had a blood spot. What does this mean?

Likely nothing . It happens Even with store bought eggs. If you are thinking it was Fertalized you would need a Rooster for that .. And I doubt it will be a consistant issue .. It just happens ..

It is from a small blood vessel that leaked a little as the egg was passing. As said before, don't worry about it, you will see that every once in a while.
