Howdy everyone!
Just thought I should introduce myself!
I'm Amy and I live about an hour south of Atlanta, GA.
I'm not really new to BYC, however, I did just recently join. I've been using this website for about a year and a half now!
We got our first chickens somewhere around a year ago, fourteen (assorted brown layers) if I remember correctly, then added 3 (RIRs) and then added 10 (assorted brown layers) more we received from a friend. We had to get rid of my Border Collie because he thought it was a little too much fun to play with our hens and now we're down to only two birds. We got 45 chicks in this morning (15 extra roosters) and are expecting to add a few Americaunas soon and 5-10 Cuckoo Marans to the flock towards the end of May.
Not 100% sure if I did this right, but I'm excited to get involved in this community more, as I still have many questions!
Excited to learn more about chickens and how to take care of them the best way possible!
