HI to all just about ready for my hens

TY just in the planning stages of the roasting chicken coop the laying coop is done already keeping them in their own enclosures Learning a lot here already. I learned I most likely do not want a wire floor not good for clean out or for keeping drafts out. Going with a solid floor. I am wondering though do meat chickens need a roost off the floor too? their coop will be about 2 feet off the ground.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! You might like to check out the Meat Birds forum https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/21/meat-birds-etc If you are raising CornishX type birds those usually don't roost since they are processed so young and are so heavy. If you are raising duel purpose or most of the colored meat birds, those are usually processed at an older age and many will prefer to roost if given the chance.
