We (my kids and I) are new to chickens. We have thirteen 2 1/2 week old meaties and will be getting 12 ISA browns on Wed. of next week.
Right now, the meaties are on the back porch in a wading pool surrounded with hardware cloth. The layer chicks will be in a large plastic tub for a while.
We are building a chicken ark for the layers and a cattle panel hoop house for the meaties.
I really enjoy the forums and have learned a lot from all of you.
I know we have much more to learn.
