Ha Ha! My daughter remarked that since it was so "cold" this morning we should have snow!! It was 26 degrees. What an adorable profile pic you have! Is she fluffin' or part silkie. . . frizzle? Hope you stay toasty! Thank you so much for the advice!!

Feel free to wish some of the snow in your direction... we'll share. Your ducks look happy to be living where they are though, 26* or not (and that is cold, CA or not :). The fluffy chicken is a frizzle black Sumatra, funny how the frizzle gives a totally different look to them.

So cute! Someday we will get more "creative" with our chickies. For now we love to share eggs and look for breeds that "produce." Our Australorps and Leghorns are very productive. But we also have a few Amerucanas that enjoy coming inside to lay eggs on the couch (no joke!) and then leave. Our Silkie Bantam has quite a personality, too!
