Hi...I'm a chicken lover from way back. Have had many & want many more. I like a little bit these & a few of those in my flock. I've just recently (within the last year) moved so am about to start an all new flock. I hope to make friends, gain knowledge & see a couple dreams fulfilled by hanging out here with all you fine folks. My honey & I love to garden & aim to "free range" (during the day) our chickens...could use some pointers on how to get them to go in of the evening.
I've always had a few 'quackers' in my gang too...I think the Pekin & the Rouen are awfully sweet, pretty & they eat really well too.

Yes you are correct the piking ducks are good eaters never ones to shy away from food more like pig's with web feet
