His only baby this year, Cassin. If you ever seen a Cassin bird. You will know why I named it that.

I'm excited, I just added a LF cochin and a langshan to my flock! I'm hoping for them to be hens! The young trio of silkies are a first also. I lost quite a few birds this year to racoons and coyotes. So I needed to add some back to my flock. I free range, so I expect casualties. But this year has been a bad year for my flock. I had 3 taken in 3 days, and then something tried to get my RIR hen. She luckily got away but pretty beat up. Im thankful for my big boy. He is a great protector of his ladies. Me and him has gone rounds with each other, but he has earned his spot in my coop!
