Hi y'all! I'm new to the chicken world.

I live down here in East Texas, right outside of Lindale. I'm new to chickens since April, when i purchased my four baby Americaunas. And I love, love, love my girls! I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first egg. I'm utilizing my chicks in my garden and it's working beautifully! Besides my obsession with my hens, I love taking care of my hubby, my home, gardening, cooking, and I'm a treasure hunter - I have an antique booth in Canton, Tx. And I can't leave out my two kitties Ivan and Mohican, which are my little companions. Being new to raising chickens, I'll have many questions. I'm so glad I found y'all!

I haven't been a member for long myself, but the information and advice is wonderful!
I spoil my chickens. They're very intelligent, and they beg as much as our beagle!

Lucky kids! I wish we'd been able to do that when I was at school. I'd also love to go to Canada.
