Welcome, Matthew 24, glad you've come "out of the [research] shadows" and joined BYC! You have an interesting and very cute assortment of chicks - did TSC offer any kind of breed hints? (Not that they're terribly reliable on that count.) There are lots of very helpful breed experts on here who could venture a guess but I'm a newbie, too; your chicks look very different from my April babies.

Where are y'all from? I grew up in Georgia (Marietta, Kennesaw) but now roost in the redwoods of far northern California. Wishing you good luck with your chicks!

Welcome to BYC. A head first photo for each would help. I think you have a gold laced Wyandotte and a silver laced Wyandotte. The white one could be a lot of different breeds so it will take more time with that one. I'm guessing the red/brown one could be a green egger but could be a Rhode Island red.

I agree with all of this, including the RIR.

Probably a hatchery "layers special" or something along those lines - a mix of good/decent standard layers.

If that is the case, the white one is probably a white rock or leghorn.

Welcome to BackYard Chickens! I agree with what has been said above. Don't expect any of your chicks to be pullets, though! Tractor Supply only sells some of their breeds as "Premium Pullets" to get people to buy them, when they are actually straight run.
I didn't know they did that. That is false advertising 😡

I can admit Tractor Supply is one of the most false-advertising feed stores when it comes to telling what their chicks are. None of their chicks are straightbred and are of bad quality, coming from Hoover's . . . as well as none of their employees are educated on chickens.

Yeah, I know Hoover's doesn't always have the best representatives of breeds, and that is okay. But having a bin labeled 'premium pullets' where the chicks are straight run just goes too far because that is misrepresenting what you are selling.

There was also Cornish Cross in the Bantam bin, and ducklings in the Brahma bin. Those are the two main mix-ups I have seen.
