Our area finally relaxed the rules a bit and allows backyard chickens. It's been over 20 years since I had a flock and in that time I've learned how much I never knew. We just got our hens this week, four Blue Marans and two generic white hens. Five friendly already, one who is convinced I am only pretending to be vegetarian, lol.
