Hi y'all! I'm Abi, and I'm real excited to join this community of backyard chicken keepers!
I first got chickens just about a year ago, and they were just about the best thing that ever happened to me! (They gave me inspiration for my career!)
I have 4 chickens right now: 3 sociable hens, + the sweetest roo.
The breeds I have are two Buff Orpington hens, a Rhode Island Red bantam hen, and a French Copper Maran rooster.
My favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens are the pet experiences and the eggs! (I mean, who could resist fresh eggs?!?!)
My other hobbies include: gardening, performing arts, and rollerblading.
Other things about me:
I found BYC on the web, I've known BYC for a few months, and I joined your awesome community today because I have some questions for y'all!
