New member here! I'm not new to chickens but I haven't had them for over 10 years, i grew up on over 35 acres with a whole array of animals so I guess it's sorta like riding a bike 😅
We just got 9 EE peepers and one was a rooster in disguise so all well he'll keep the hens happy! Heading north today to pick up 5 Lavender Orpington hens that some city people thought would be fun and then decided chicken wrangling wasn't for them lol. I love it I could sit for hours with my girls and apparent boy 🙄

I also have 6 human kids I wrangle as well ranging from 22 to 9 so they keep me busy! I'm a homesteader and bake all my own bread products. We have 9 acres we're trying to make as self sustainable as possible!

Welcome to the BYC family!

Be aware that chicken diseases are real and very nasty...not something anyone wants to get stuck dealing with.
If you see the slightest bubble in one of these bird's eyes leave them there. Check them over closely for mites and lice too.
