hi!
im very new to owning chickens, they were actually dropped off on my front porch by a friend and needed someone to take care of them. i have just under a half acre of land and a huge garden with an old chicken coop that wasnt in use.
i have 8 chickens
im unsure what kind of breeds i have
so far this has been mostly stress but after we had a incident where some of our chickens were attacked by a racoon i have a chicken whos leg was injured and am wondering how to further help it
i am an artist of all medias and have been around all types of animals all my life.
my mother grew up on a farm and each summer we spent a lot of time there.
i searched online how to mend a chicken foot

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

So your chicken is okay then? Sounds like your coop and run need a bit of help. There is fencing called 1/2" hardware cloth that keeps chickens safe.

If you posted pictures of your coop and run, many of us could give you ideas.

If your chicken still is having issues, take some photos and post in our ER Forum and folks will help you.

We're glad you're here!
