I just got seven hens and one rooster. Built a nice coop/ lot. New to this any advice.

Hi, welcome to the chicken world. They definitely are wonderful creatures with some spunky personalities What kind of chickens do you have? Since you just got them, make sure you give them a few day's to get adjusted, most don't immediately lay, they take time to warm up to new surroundings. Will they be free range or pinned?
