I am not new to chickens, I had 3 a few years back although I've gotten really into them and other fowl this past year. I currently have 1 barred rock hen, 1 black sexlink hen, 1 crossbreed rooster, 2 ducks(the duck is a crested, but I'm not sure of the male's breed), and a bourbon red turkey. Other pets: a ball python, two diamond doves, a dog, two cats, a rabbit, and two Texas brown tarantulas. I really love animals.
 
Good for you. I have an assortment of pets also. Chickens, Geese, Ducks, Dogs, Cats, Goats, Rabbits and a Horse. I used to have Morning Doves and love their song. I got my fill of reptiles when I owned a pet store. I want some Sheep. Thinking about it for this spring.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
 
Welcome to backyard chickens (from alaska) on my homestead I breed show rabbits (50), show and dairy goats (15), show, egg, and meat chickens (200 total), show and meat geese (8), show, egg, and meat ducks (20), show and meat turkeys (10), Show pigeons, and other "pets" are 2 herding dogs, 3 parakeets, 2 cockatiels, 25 goldfish, 2 cats, and several worm farms.
