Hi....

Hi, I'm Ella, and i had two ducks yesterday, and I have one duck today. She is a purebred ancona, full grown but less than a year. We both miss our drake, mohawk (a crested ancona). He was a crested ancona, and both of them were hatched in my chemistry class. I love them dearly and am devastated by what happened. I'm looking for another duck, preferably a female ancona, for my poor baby. I live near philadelphia, and I'm glad I joined this site.

He was taken by some kind of predator, all that was left of him was a clump of feathers, and when I tried to follow the feathers, it was a dead end. I feel awful because usually by that time we have them locked in the run but we couldn't get them in last night.
