I just got 3 Sapphire Gems today, and they are my 1st ever chickens and I am so excited!!!
I dont know if they are male or female, its still early
But 2 of them have been named so far and my daughter's fell asleep in her arms!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

They are very cute!

One looks like a cockerel, one is a maybe and one looks like a pullet.

Time will tell though!
