I used to keep hens years ago, and started to miss having them AND fresh eggs!So I bought 4 at Point Of Lay..... one of which has never laid an egg! Ah well, we still love Star.....so she won't be a pot hen! A few weeks later I got 4 young ones, now 19 weeks old..... I kept them in an old wheelie bin with a mesh cover over the entrance, then introduced them to the older flock.....now they all eat, sleep, drink etc together!
