Hi, I have just joined the forum. I have two ex-battery hens, for about two years now, Rhode Island Red hybrids. I don't know a huge amount about chickens but think they are lovely, fascinating, entertaining creatures and am eager to learn. It has been a lot of trial and error with them but they have improved hugely since I first got them. Up until recently they were very happy but one of them is currently battling egg peritonitis, which is how I came across the forum and I posted a question before even introducing myself. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
