Hello and welcome to BYC!Glad you joined.
How many do you have? What breeds?
i have 6 hens and 4 ducks. (So far) Daisy Mae is an easter egger, Stella is a black copper marans, Bridget is a bantam australorp, Millie is a welsummer, Avie Lee is a rhode island red, baby is i guess a "fibroegger"? (Ayem cemani x easter egger) and for ducks Isabelle is a cayuga, dolly was supposed to be a cayuga but i think shes mixed with khaki campbell. Eloise is a khaki and annie is a pekin! i had another easter egger june and a cayuga alice who were taken from me by a fox
Haha i love it. Its true.
Thats very hard to say . I love them both... they have their pros and cons. I love how the ducks listen like dogs.. they come whenever i call.. they seem to understand "no" but the hens are much cleaner. I have had the hens longer.. they are more independent but i just love their individual little personalities.welcome to BYC! which do you like better, chickens or ducks?![]()
