Hi! I'm Heather and I live on the Space Coast of Florida, USA. I have had chickens in the past, but found out I'm alergic to chickens and their eggs! Bummer! So I need to get ducks and I'm most interested in Muscovys. I live in a neighborhood and their quiet friendliness seems very appealing. I plan to build a secure run and use some large dog houses for their homes and laying. Looking forward to help finding some new feathered friends!

Yeah, I found a lady that has runners and I bought some duck eggs from her. No reaction! Yay!

Many people who are allergic to chicken eggs find they can eat quail eggs. The culprit protein in chicken eggs that makes you allergic is not in quail eggs. I raised quail for over a decade. Very fun little birds to keep.
