Hi all,

I live in Ireland and I'm new to keeping chickens. I have 6 laying hens that are about 6 months old that we got from a local poultry farm and I hatched 14 chickens in April, 10 of which turned out to be roosters, so I have 20 chucks in all.

Not sure what breed the laying hens are, but I have 3 French Black Copper Marans, 2 of which are roosters. I have 1 Swedish Flower Hen rooster and 3 Cream Legbar roosters. The rest are supposed to be either Sulmtaler, Swedish Flower Hen and Cream Legbar but not sure yet.

not sure, we might have a home for one or two .. want to keep 2 of them and the others may end up being a nice roast dinner... maybe.
