My name is Anne and my roommate and I are raising chickens for fun and sustainable farming. I am fairly new to raising layers. We got our chickens in March 2020. I have 13 hens and most of them just started laying a few weeks ago. I have 3 Wyandottes, 5 Rhode Island Reds, and 5 Easter Eggers. I love that each hen has her own personality. I have a garden and I have been growing different vegetables. On our property we also have bees that have just started producing honey. I found BYC when I started googling questions I had about my chickens and found it to be a great resource.
