(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We have had chickens for about a year now, so quite new.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have about 30-40 currently.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Actually not 100% sure.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?]
They are so entertaining! Love every aspect of our chickens.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Writing and painting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We currently have 7 dogs, 3 cats and inside with us,8 baby chicks of various ages, we also have petunia who is our oldest chick ( now a pullet, who we hand reared.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I am often looking for advice, this community is amazing.
