Hi!
I love chickens so much! I also love baking, chocolate, and art.

My family has 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish, 2 parakeets, and currently 7 chickens, and a ton of live mealworms.
I am going to be getting my first chicks tomorrow. One of my family members has chickens (as mentioned above), so I know a tiny bit about caring for them, but that being said, I know hardly anything. I am super excited for tomorrow, I am planning to get 2 chicks, a Buff Brahma and Sapphire Gem at my local feed store. Don't worry, it won't just be the two of them, my other fellow chicken keeping family member is also getting two. Any tips for keeping chickens? I know the basic supplies for chicks (chick feeder, waterer, heat lamp, box, bedding, chick feed, etc) making sure to handle them daily so they will be friendly, keep other pets away like dogs and cats, stuff like that. This will be my first time as a chicken keeper, so I'm a little nervous, but still super excited :)
