Season's Greetings from Central Texas!
My name's Chandra, and I'm a bird-a-holic, apparently. Last spring, while everyone else was panic buying toilet paper, I was panic buying chicks and ducklings. No previous experience, and it's been a hell of a learning process, but we're doing mostly alright, I think. Predation has been our biggest problem, but I know it goes with the territory when free ranging.

2 Egyptian Fayoumis
3 Easter Eggers
3 Black Copper Marans
1 White Rock
3 Buff Brahmas
3 Australorps
5 Barred Rocks
3 Buff Orpingtons
4 White laying ducks
5 Pekins
1 Cayuga
7 Muscovies

Everyone seems healthy and happy, though we do have one 6 month old Australorp pullet in isolation in the house due to lameness.

Love that you were getting birds during the panic buying. Good to meet someone who has great priorities, and I like the word "bird-a-holic." I could use that one myself.
