(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Relatively new myself, as I have only had my recent chickens for about 9 months which I hatched out of an incubator.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
4 but currently have a clucky hen sitting on 7 eggs and 14 more in my incubator
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Light Sussex, 1 Barred Rock and 1 Rhode Island. Got some mixed breed eggs in my incubator which I'm pretty excited about as there is some olive eggs which I believe are Brown Shaver X Araucana
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I find them especially cute, but I enjoy the fact especially with hand-raised ones that they are friendly and like to join in with gardening(Though they arn't very helpful). I also enjoy watching them hatch
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, Art, Reading
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I come from a family of 4, my two parents (who I currently live with) and a brother who has moved out, I currently am studying theology, Chickens have helped me appreciate God's design.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Was looking up hatching questions and managed to find this community and they seemed extremely friendly! I thought I would join so I could join in the fun
