I hadn't planned on having any farm animals but over the past few months I had someone drop off a 2 day old lamb without asking so I bottle raised her and she has become a member of the family. We got her a goat pal so she wouldn't be alone and they are best friends.
I also have 7 pekin ducks and 1 rouen that were surprise gifts from someone that thought that was a good idea.
I've spent hours lurking on here trying to get all the info I can on raising these guys and it's been tremendously helpful so figured I'd finally join.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
Glad you joined.
Your neighbors sense that you are an animal lover. A lamb and some ducks are awesome gift. My neighbors just bring over baby birds that fall out of their trees. And baby mice from their shed
