EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP ASAP

I heard of using this to knock out sour crop, but it actually works for infections too? I admittedly know very little about colloidal silver.
Yes if you use the right kind. I only buy it from that company. It has to be in a brown glass bottle and not silver nitrate I think it is called. A lot of knock off brands are sold that isn't the right thing and turn people blue. I have used it for years in place of antibiotics. I've never tried it with sour crop so I can't speak for that.

Thank you, what's the dosage?

This is from a welcome member post explaining the dosage for sour crop. If you don't find out any other dosages for it, I'd go with that. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/howdy-byc.1628559/post-27813675
Thank you, if I wanted to treat other infections for example if (which im pretty sure) she does have a infection in her reproductive tract, is it the same dosage? Also, the meds someone linked, im not sure who come on Friday.

I should mention that my whole family besides my mom aren't at our home until Friday night. So not sure how to administer calcium and liquids.

My husband makes homemade colloidal silver here and we use it, and I have used it with Ducks too but I have not tried using it in place of an antibiotic maybe next time I’ll give it a go
I think I'll give it a go just because I don't want to look back and say to myself, "I should've done that.." Because I do that with my other chicken that passed away and I regret not trying every single thing.

Five days in a row, but it could also be given for seven days in a row and in some cases up to 10 days I usually do five days in a row remember it’s 0.05 ML per pound which means if you have a one ML syringe and your bird weighs 4 pounds you would only draw it up to the .2 - it’s a very tiny amount of liquid. Weigh your bird first.

Okay thank you so so much!!

I am sorry I am late to this discussion. My husband was admitted into the hospital and I am trying to process a very aggressive cancer diagnosis for him.

She most definitely has a reproductive disease. Either EYP or salpingitis, but probably a little of both. She needs an antibiotic to start combatting the infection, but she will keep getting sick if you do not stop her laying. She also needs meloxicam. Meloxicam is not only to help her with pain because of inflammation reduction, but it is also therapeutic. For antibiotics EYP is usually mixed bacteria. I would use the "big gun" and give her enrofloxacin (Baytril). Next best is Trimethoprim-Sulfa. For Salpingitis, Clavamox (amoxicillin) is the best. I am learning towards salpingitis because of the egg shell symptoms and the lack of penguin stance gait. In any case, you need to stop her egg laying. The only way to do this is implants or Luprolide injections.
