Hi my name is Kay. I am a new chicken momma. I got chickens in April of this year. I currently have 9. 2 Amberlinks, 4 Golden Commets and 3 Eggers. I bought this from a local store in Iowa (Theisen's). I got the chickens to share the experience with my daycare children. We loved watching them grow and now that they are laying, the kids are having a blast collecting eggs. We are avid campers during the warmer months in Iowa. I am married and have 2 children. One is married and has twins (boy and girl). My daughter just graduated college in May and is currently living at home to save money. I found out about BYC from a google search when I was searching for questions about raising my chickens. I look forward to everything I can learn from this group! Thanks for allowing me in.
