(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm brand new to chickens! We got 13 day old baby chicks about 3 weeks ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
13
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Black Australorp, 2 speckled Sussex, 2 barred rocks, 2 RIR, 2 buff brahmas, 3 buff orpington.(We think and hope all hens)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love getting to know each little chick and watching them grow.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I love to garden and I homeschool my two boys!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband and I have recently moved to Ohio to open a tree farm on 10+ acres. We have two boys who we homeschool. And I am a part time mental health therapist.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? . Ever since I caught the "chicken bug" I have very much enjoyed lurking around BYC and when I finally got my chicks, I thought I'd join! I'm excited to learn about how to take care of chickens!
