Greetings to you all! I'm new to having my own Chickies this year. Started with 13 on April 3rd. By the end of May had 19 total. Between predators and roos I currently have 11. 2 buff orpingtons, 2 light brahmas one of which is a roo, 2 black australorps, 2 silver lace wyandottes, 2 gold lace wyandottes, and an "oops" Welsummer who I can't figure out yet if it's a second roo. I have quite the menagerie of fur, fin, and feathered friends on my little patch of dirt in South Central WI. I look forward to learning from you all!

Welcome!! Glad you found us! It’s a great community to be a part of. I’m also new to chickens this year. I have 17◡̈ they’re 18 & 20 weeks. Very impatiently waiting for eggs, they’re soooo close to laying!!! I’m almost convinced they are laying and im just not finding them
